Soulful Serenity Group was founded by Rev. Dr. Wanda and Rev. Dr. Myrna in 2024. From the day they met through The RISE Together National Mentorship Network for Women of Color in Ministry, they connected in the spirit and became sisters. Within the last 7 years, they have worked as mentors to provide and establish a holding space for Black women in ministry. Fostering environments that support empowerment, liberation, healing, transformation, wholeness, and restoration. Their commitment to promoting healing and deliberate self-care practices is the result of their combined 48+ years of experience as pastoral counselors, educators, and ministry leaders working to establish a safe and healing environment for Black clergy women. Recognizing to be a life-giving well and resource for those whom God has called us to care for, Black clergy women, must be intentional about taking care of their minds, bodies, and spirits.
